The Weimar Republic
During the time of the Weimar Republic there were also foreign workers employed in Germany, however, much less than before the war. From the first post-war years until the economy crunch in 1932 the number shrank from 300,000 to 100,000. They came primarily from Poland, Czechoslovakia and the Netherlands.
